Madison Wilson is a midfielder from London, Ont. who returns to Canada to play professionally after a five-year stint playing NCAA Division I soccer with the University of Dayton and the University of Iowa.
Madison spent four seasons at the University of Dayton where she played in all 20 matches for the Flyers in 2023 and led the team in points. She was named to the A10 All-Championship Team in 2023 and was selected to the All-Rookie Team in 2020-21. In her final season of eligibility, Madison played a key role in helping the Iowa Hawkeyes make a Sweet 16 appearance.
Growing up playing for North London Galaxy and then the London Football Academy, Madison considers winning the Ontario Cup at age 13 as one of her most cherished soccer memories. Additionally, she scored the game-winning goal in the A10 tournament quarterfinals to help the Hawkeyes advance.
Did You Know… Madison’s role models are her family members, including her Mom, Dad, Mama, Papa, and two brothers, Tim and Connor. She credits them for loving her unconditionally, pushing her to be her best, influencing and molding her into the person she is today … Influenced to play soccer by her brothers, Madison’s brother Connor, plays professional football in Ireland … Madison is a multi-sport athlete, competing in hockey, basketball, track, badminton and volleyball … She believes in the power of soccer and emphasizes it is much more than a sport, it is a community activity where everyone joins together to share in celebrating the best game played in the world…Passionate about attainable health care, Madison has participated in multiple Breast Cancer Awareness games…Off the field, Madison takes time to connect with her family, takes walks to reflect on the week’s events and appreciating her accomplishments while planning for future goals.
